Our association is doing good things and helping out many with special needs and scholarships.
We aren't doing as much as we would like to do and not as much as one would expect, especially if you or someone you are close to are in need of financial help.
We are limited by the funds we have available, so what we can do is modest compared to the needs.

Here is what we were able to accomplish this year with less than 300 paid members:
1. Helped 15 families in crisis situations, providing medical help, housing, utilities, clothing, etc. You provided nearly $11K in crisis support to families.
2. Helped 9 alumni families send their children to college, providing $6K in scholarship assistance.
3. Helped scores of new alumni with transportation, providing $4K for vehicle maintenance and fuel for the Alumni Support Center.
4. Provided $500 to the residents of the Alumni Support Center to help with Christmas presents for their families.
5. Provided $500 to the homes at BR as awards for the Christmas Contest winners.

Les McNutt & Craig Ivy

Anyone have any information on these guys?

I believed after he graduated he moved to Lubbock. I remember when Carter Sinclair & I were 17/18 we took a weekend to Lubbock to stay with Carter's mom. Les took us out to a bar to drink and play pool.....ok, the only one he got us in was a gay bar called Hilltop or something.....we didn't know that fact until after we were drinking our beer......

Anyone know what happened with Les?

Craig Ivy,
I had to stay at Bridwell during summer trip my first year at the Ranch. The other guys who stayed behind were in MF so it was pretty awkward to me being by myself with all these other guys I knew but didn't really know. So I was put in Craigs room. Bridwell had those newer rooms and I slept near the door of the room and Craig and another guy slept in the back. I remember Craig kept the radio on all night long on KPUR. He never said much to me except if I didn't keep my crap picked up I get a beating. All he needed to say I never said anything to him except when he spoke to me. I actually think after my stay he kind of liked me because I wasn't the "typical" kid asking stupid questions all the time.
Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

That sounds like Craig....lol I went to South Plains College in Levelland & Tommy Horodnyckyi went to West Texas. Well, during my spring break I had no where to go so I stayed the week on the floor of his room. I would sneak into the chow hall by going in through the kitchen, I attended some of his classes and actually too a final in a class....and did it the same way I took tests at the ranch, but only worse....I would right down the most stupidest answers....but I would say things like "your a stupid teacher" "I learned NOTHING in your class" which actually was true....lol

The one things that really stands out though is we went to a bar.....it was Tommy, Craig, Keith Lanehan.....and maybe a couple more. We got Kieth so dang drunk. We started playing quarters and we picked on Kieth and Craig would just take the quarter, tap the table and drop it into the glass and kieth had no clue he was cheating.....we all were busting a gut.....it wa so funny.

In one of the year book there is a picture of 4 guys dressed up as KISS. It was Craig Ivy, Charles Carmona, Frank Davis and......??? I don't have the pic in front so I don't know who he was. They looked awesome tho.....
