If you are not already a paid CFBRAA member I want to encourage you to become one.
Our association is doing good things and helping out many with special needs and scholarships.
We aren't doing as much as we would like to do and not as much as one would expect, especially if you or someone you are close to are in need of financial help.
We are limited by the funds we have available, so what we can do is modest compared to the needs.

Here is what we were able to accomplish this year with less than 300 paid members:
1. Helped 15 families in crisis situations, providing medical help, housing, utilities, clothing, etc. You provided nearly $11K in crisis support to families.
2. Helped 9 alumni families send their children to college, providing $6K in scholarship assistance.
3. Helped scores of new alumni with transportation, providing $4K for vehicle maintenance and fuel for the Alumni Support Center.
4. Provided $500 to the residents of the Alumni Support Center to help with Christmas presents for their families.
5. Provided $500 to the homes at BR as awards for the Christmas Contest winners.

I can't go in June because it doesn't coincide with the Annual Rodeo. I can't go to that because every year my school money doesn't deposit until latter September. Been that way for 5 years. Can't be helped. Besides, the travel and lodging expense will pay several bills. :| I hate being sensible. :x As it is, my scholarship from BR was cut $1500.00, and to top it off, I won't be able to get my BAAS degree or go to law school if I can't find some money for all that. I wasn't going to say anything but I didn't want to seem anti social about going to this or that. In September I will take "Dispute Resolution" Training and add that to my arsenal of skills and get NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants) Certified and be the best Paralegal I can be. :) :?: It hasn't been fun to think about because I really want to be a trial lawyer. It IS what is before me. I also have to consider loan debt, upwards of 150K  not counting 5/6 more years of college, plus, I ain't gettin' any younger. I want to put to use my education and make some money while I can. Listen, we are not guaranteed the next thirty seconds. I want to spend some money I earn and have fun doing it. I also need to get to Ocala Florida to get my Leslie speaker from Mike Rogers that's been at this house for 3 years. That's another story. So you see, Lads, No mon, No fun. Too bad, Don't be sad :D I would like to see The Old Guard and Tiny but this is just the way it is currently. 8) If anybody out there can provide a lead or two in my area, great. Send it on. I, for the right offer, would consider a move. Been HERE since '69. I'm steady and dependable. HAPPY TRAILS, Y'ALL 8) 8)

Actually I know life is a real deal at times and hopefully we could meet again but at BR and that would be worth the trip. You know our father never gives us more to handle than we need to handle for the moment. So I believe your doors will open because your drive and determination of the work you've completed and how you handlle yourself in class and in other settings. You know now that logic and finding the key attributes is what would win the case. Law is a funny animal and everyday it is used correctly and sometimes and maybe more so in a way that could be fuzzy but a verdict is found. So just focus on that and when you are really famous and not just between your ears famous. Ring me and I'll consider being your personal driver.

But like the above pictures says:

The only problem about driving will be, a '55 Chevy two door hard top, not a Mustang girlie car! 8)

My mustang girlie car is cool and chicks dig it! And it sounds good too! And since I am secure with all that it is hammer time!

Can you see me in this picture? Well the caption says it all.
